Un Domingo en España

Hello Everyone!

Sundays are a day that I definitely miss home!! Because I know if I was at home right now.. I'd be waking up in the next couple hours to get ready to go to church at Hope with my wonderful roommates/friends! Or I'd be at the cabin with my great family waking up to a most likely blown out lake .. and it looks like its only in the 50's right now!! But I would still enjoy my time with them :) and cookie delights (thanks for that picture jason.. haha).

Anyways.. my past week has been pretty good.. although I did end up getting kind of sick! But Tuesday night I slept for about 15 hours.. and felt much, much better. My days have been consisting of going to class, hanging out in either the center or going to a café to do homework or talk. Eating lunch sometimes a wonderful siesta more class, more friends, dinner and going out depending on the night! It's really fun when we go out and get the chance to talk to Spaniards, because then we are forced to speak spanish!

Yesterday (Saturday) we went to tour "El Escorial" .. which is an enormous royal palace. It's not very fancy or luxurious like other castles, it's more serious. But it was very cool. Ricardo knows just about everything there is to know when it comes to Spain.. so he would explain EVERYTHING to us. Hahah which was very interesting... it was just a lot of information to take in on a Saturday morning.

You are all missed very much. I would very much appreciate prayers for our group and the chance for everyone to draw closer to God during our experience over seas.

Un Abrazo y Un Beso
